Some pictures from our new camera
There isn't much going on the wacky world of AR that I feel the need to comment on today, so I thought I'd post a couple pictures I took yesterday afternoon with our new digital camera. These were both taken near our house.
The warm late afternoon sun shines through the ponderosa pines.
A sure sign that summer is near, this little cactus is in bloom.
I am a lifelong outdoorsman, and avid angler, hunter, hiker, and camper. My interest in the outdoors led me to pursue an education in the natural resource sciences, and I have a Bachelor of Science in Wildlife Biology with a minor in Forestry from Colorado State University. I first became interested in the agenda of the animal rights movement when I began hearing about their ongoing irrational assault on potentially life saving medical research from my wife, who is a registered nurse. From there, I not only began to see AR's battle against many of the outdoor traditions I cherish, but against almost every aspect of the human/animal relationship as we know it. I tend to lean libertarian and somewhat objectivist in my worldview. I believe strongly in personal liberty and corresponding personal responsibility. The nickname "Grizzly Bear" comes from my lifelong love for, and fascination with, the great bear that is such a symbol of all that is wilderness.
